LBC initial entry into the biofuel business is through the acquisition of 38% interest in Lereno Sdn Bhd (“LSB”), a Specialist Biofuel manufacturer in Malaysia. The 60,000 metric tons Palm Oil Biodiesel plant of LSB in Lumut, Malaysia utilized a proprietary patentable “winterized” technology (the “Winterized Technology”). Production of Biodiesel has commenced.

Our Biodiesel product fulfils the stringent European universal standard of EN 14214 which requires a range from –15 degree celsius (winter) up to a maximum +5 degree celsius (summer). This gives LBC an edge and greater access to the Biodiesel market into Japan, Korea and Europe, etc.
